A heartfelt plantation drive was organized under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign to promote environmental awareness and honor motherhood. Students, teachers and staff of New Delhi Public School planted various fruit-bearing, medicinal, and shady trees in the school campus and pledged to nurture them with love and care.
The campaign, inspired by PM Narendra Modi’s national initiative, encourages everyone to plant a tree in their mother’s name. Poster displays and essay writing competitions on the importance of plants further enriched the event.
School leaders Neeraj Shivhare & Shakil Ahmed, along with enthusiastic staff and students, made this initiative a great success — blending environmental responsibility with emotional connection.
